[/caption]After a long day of waiting, we finally found out this afternoon at 5pm that the owners of the townhouse have agreed to let us rent it! We were supposed to hear something last night, but then she texted me this morning to say that the home owners were trying to work out some logistics and that she should have an answer sometime soon. Ian emailed me later in the day with some other news - the home owners of our 2nd favorite house in the neighborhood called Sandoval said that they would let us rent for 6 months if we were still interested. So I called the real estate agent to just see if she knew which direction the home owners were leaning and to let her know that we had another option if it didn't work out. I was hoping that by putting some pressure on them, they'd hurry and make a decision! Well, they didn't hurry, but they did make a decision! And it's ours! Yay! We are working on getting all the paperwork completed and all that kind of stuff now. We should be able to move in Sunday or Monday.
Now for the rest of our day!
This morning the kids and I went to the mall to meet Ian, the new IM (his name is Seth), and two of the girls from the store for lunch. It was great seeing Seth again - the last time we'd seen him was in Stone Mountain when Ian was there for IM training. We left the mall and went to Target. I think I could have dropped $100 in the dollar spot today! Dumb budget..... But seriously, Cayman's probably getting some Christmas presents from the dollar spot this year - and I am not even ashamed. Ian and I have already decided that Christmas this year is going to be low-key for everyone. We can't really buy the kids any big gifts...because we'd just have to pack them up somehow when we move to the next place. We can't really buy a whole lot of anything really. So we've decided that we'll just save money this year instead and just do little things. I mean, seriously, they're not going to remember anyways, right? So if I pay $1 for a gift, I won't feel bad if we "accidentally lose it" when we move to the next location. Since we'll have a garage at the new house, I'm considering finding Cayman some kind of riding toy at a yard sale or consignment shop so he can ride it around the garage...really get him worn out before nap time! (Don't roll your eyes -- you know you'd do the same thing with a two year old!)
Let's see. After Target, we went straight to Cayman's 1:45 doctor's appointment because he woke up with hives again this morning. Of course, they were gone by the time we got to the doctor's office, but I did have a picture to show her on my camera. She had no idea what caused them, and I figured that's what she was going to say. But of course I had to pay $25 to hear her say that. I'd rather hear her say that though, than something much worse! She said that if his hives continue to come back off and on in the next few months, then we'd probably need to take him to see an allergist. When I took his shirt off of him tonight to put his pjs on him, he had another one on his chest! So strange...
After the appointment, we finally made it home for nap! After nap, Cayman discovered Charis' hairbows in her room. He wanted to wear them. All of them. At the same time. So, I did what any mother would do! I put all of them in his hair (including the massive pink flower that's the size of Charis' face). And then I chased him around with a camera so I could capture that memory forever! (Really, just for his high school yearbook one day....) And, I stood him in front of the bathroom mirror so he could see what he looked like. You would have thought Cayman had never seen himself before! He would have stood there for 30 minutes if I had let him making silly faces in the mirror. It was hysterical. I was laughing so hard at him - in between snapping pictures, of course!

(I didn't mean for all the pictures to be included in the slideshow - just the hairbow pictures! But I don't know how to change it! Oh well....)
Oh yeah! And we got the CD in the mail today of Charis' photo shoot. Little did I know, they had captured some awesome pictures of Cayman! He looks like a little model! I'm only going to post one on here, but I put some others on our Facebook page if you want to see the rest.

[/caption]Ok. Maybe I need to post 2 because I can't decide which one is my favorite!

And finally, here's a first for Charis! I was FINALLY able to put a bow in her hair (with no headband!)
