Um, what happened here?

I have no idea what's been going on in our household recently, but I think I may just lose my mind. I'm blogging early today so that I can be in the bed and falling asleep before 11 tonight because I have been EXHAUSTED. (No. I'm not pregnant. :)) I think my body is getting adjusted to the birth control pills I'm using right now; if that's the case, my body and those pills better get used to each other because this is absurd. I am not an angry person, but I have been snapping at EVERYONE, Charis included, poor thing. I HATE acting like that. Cayman had to go to bed early last night because he was moody and snappy too. And then he was up at 7:30 this morning, and within an hour he was already sitting in timeout (he hasn't had to go to timeout in DAYS.) He was very disobedient today (for a child that is rarely disobedient and normally very kind and sweet) and continuously told me "No!" and even hit me one time. VERY unusual for Cayman. So something's going on with him too...or maybe he's just tired of a cranky mama! And Charis...I'm really putting off calling the doctor because I don't want to waste more money for them to tell us there's nothing wrong with her other than she's teething. She's a little cranky, a little clingy, but she's still eating normally. No fever anymore. She seems to appreciate a little Orajel and occasionally some tylenol. So I don't have a clue.

But I do have a sweet hubby...still...that hasn't changed. When we heard Cayman on the monitor at 7:30 this morning, Ian said, "I'll wake up with him and let you sleep." I don't even know if I responded - I may have just rolled right back over and went back to sleep! He let me sleep until 8ish when he brought Charis in there to be fed. And then he had to leave for a busy day at work! He's such a sweetheart.

I pulled out some of the tricks I've been saving for a rainy day. The weather was gorgeous today (a little humid and warm, however), but it was still a rainy day in the Moody household. Cayman enjoyed coloring on our big sliding glass door with these special window markers. I stayed out there with him (and Charis in the exersaucer) for a long time. But as soon as I closed the door to give Cayman a new coloring surface, he was "all done!"

Now. I'm off to do some more work since Charis is happily playing with my camera case on the sofa watching The Duggars on TV. My resting period is over since one of the kiddos is awake! :)
