(I wish I could write a caption for all of these...so many stories!) :)
Jason and Allison and the kids arrived in town this morning around 4:45. They drove from Cumming, Georgia down to Cape Coral to Allison's parents house. Cayman has talked all day about going to see Harper and Garrett. We went over there for supper tonight, and we had so much fun! Charis had fun playing with ribbon - the rest of the time she was a little cranky. She didn't get both of her naps in today. But she did sit outside and play with ribbon after we opened gifts for a good 20 minutes. At one point, Harper was asking someone to ride a train with her. She literally asked the room (apparently no one was listening) 20 times in a span of 5 minutes to ride the train. I was in another room nursing Charis and heard her ask over and over. I wanted to scream, "WILL SOMEONE PLEASE RIDE THE TRAIN WITH HARPER!!!" :) Allison and I tried to see who could give the kids the most annoying gifts. I gave Harper a "Pretty, Pretty Princess" game with lots of tiny jewelry pieces to keep up with. She gave Cayman a loud, noisy guitar. Thanks Aunt Allison! (I give that toy 2 weeks to make it in our household!) :) I think she won that contest.
Mom, Charis and I left during Cayman's nap time for Target. I figured we had a good 3 hours before Cayman woke up from his nap, so we stopped by Ian's store, he gave us a tour of the kitchen, and then we walked around Target for a LONG time. When we got home, Cayman wildly greeted us at the top of the stairs. Dad said he'd been up for an hour already. Apparently he had pooped and woken himself up. And, also, he was KNOCKING on his door for Big Al to come get him! I guess my days of Cayman waiting in his bed for mommy to come get him in the mornings are over... *Sigh....* Cayman will probably beg us to leave him with Big Al again. I gave Daddy no instructions/rules because I figured Cayman would still be asleep by the time we got home. So when Cayman asked for something to drink, Dad grabbed the Hawaiian Punch out of the fridge. (Cayman never gets juice, unless he's at church or something, much less something with THAT much sugar!!) Thankfully, he knew to mix it with water because that's what they've always had to do with Garrett and Harper. But it's no wonder Cayman was bouncing off the walls when we got home!
