Getting in the Festive Mood

I went to Target today...oh dear, I hear some of you saying. But, surprise, surprise, I stayed within our budget and bought some Christmas decorations. I've decided what we're going to do...at least for a Christmas tree.

I found these today in the dollar spot at Target. We'll see what Ian has to say about the bright colors! :)

I'm still thinking that we can make some homemade ornaments to match these colors. You may think I'm being silly, but I still want the tree to look pretty because we will be having some Christmas parties over here next month! :)

I also found this to teach Cayman his numbers. I don't think he really gets what "Christmas" is yet, but we're working on it! Maybe he'll enjoy moving the candy cane to the different pockets.

We didn't buy these, but Cayman was pretty fond of them! Charis? Not so much....
