Another New Riding Toy!

This morning the kids and I had just finished playing outside when I heard the doorbell ring. I opened the front door to discover our neighbor standing at our door with a Radio Flyer wagon. He proceeded to ask if we could use a wagon; his kids had all outgrown it; they bought it when their kids were Cayman and Charis' ages. I said, "Um yes we could use a wagon!!" I was so touched by their generosity! I was just thinking the other day while we were playing out in the garage that it would be nice to have something for Charis to sit in while we played in there because I felt bad just sitting her on a blanket on the ground. So the wagon will be perfect for that, but the kids also LOVE it! I couldn't wait for the kids to wake up this afternoon from their naps so we could go riding in it. And of course they ended up sleeping FOREVER! No complaints here though! I do regret waking Charis up from her nap though, because she was pretty grouchy the rest of the evening...except for when she was riding the wagon with her brother!

I forgot to take pictures of the kids' Thanksgiving artwork today :(. (And the artwork is already folded up and sealed in envelopes.) We made turkeys out of their handprints! They turned out really cute, but Cayman lost interest really quickly! He acts like he's 2 or something! :)

I CANNOT wait until Thanksgiving! We are so excited about seeing some of our family! I think we've pretty much crammed next week full of activities though! Circus on Monday night; dinner at Gail and Jim's Tuesday night; the guys are playing golf on Wednesday; double date for the younger spouses [Ian and Alyson, Jason and Allison] Wednesday night; Thanksgiving festivities on Thursday; then taking Daddy to the airport Friday morning and having Garrett and Harper over here Friday night so the adults [Jason, Allison and her parents] can go out Friday night! It's going to be busy but full of fun if I know my crazy family! :) I CAN'T WAIT!
