One Last Visit...

[slideshow]

"Last time" as Cayman would say while holding up two fingers (don't ask...we have no idea where he got that -- putting those two things together...but he says/does it a lot!) Anyways - it was our last visit with Garrett, Harper, Jason and Allison. Well, mainly Garrett and Harper. We watched them tonight so J and A could go out with her parents for some quiet, sophisticated adult time. We had a BLAST! I wish they could have been over here all day long! We ate pizza for dinner, Harper and Cayman chased each other around the house for a good 30 minutes (until Harper - age 3 - decided she needed to go potty...she almost made it to the toilet...:)), the kids made some Christmas ornaments for our tree (note to self: next time have more Christmas ornaments...they loved doing the arts and crafts - I was totally shocked!), Garrett played the Wii some with Ian, all the big kids played in the swimming pool (aka - our massive bath tub), Cayman and Garrett pretended the tub was a slip-in-slide once all the water had drained out, they enjoyed a yummy grapes and apple bedtime snack while watching "The Polar Express." I think they had a great time...I at least know one little boy that had a fantastic time with two of his older cousins!

Did you brave the crowds today to go out shopping today?

I did....at 12:00pm...for diapers, baby food and wipes. How exciting, huh? Ian left the house at 2:30am or so. He and the marketing director went to some of the big, busy stores this morning (Kohl's, Target, etc) to pass out coupons to the people waiting in lines outside. Since he was already at Kohl's he bought me a crockpot (so I won't have to borrow one anymore) for $10! And he bought us each a Sonicare electric toothbrush. How old are we? Buying a crockpot and toothbrushes on Black Friday!

Pictures will be up tomorrow, Nana! :)
