Peace and Quiet

Have I mentioned how much I love Ian Moody?

I am so thankful that the Lord allowed our paths to cross and eventually joined our hearts and lives as one!

The past couple of weeks have been really crazy for us. We stressed over finding somewhere to live. Ian switched stores and hasn't been coming home until 7ish every night. Cayman has random hives. Charis screeches like a parrot and takes 30 minutes naps periodically. It's been a long week. And the long hours with the kids have been wearing me down. My sweet hubby took notice of that tonight. He put his own exhaustion aside for an hour and took the kids to the mall so that I could have some alone/quiet time for the first time in a long time! Cayman said that he wanted to go with Daddy by himself, but Daddy insisted they take Charis too. I love my selfless husband. He's pretty amazing!

Cayman, Charis and I went to our last MNT playdate (at least the last one while we're living in the same town as everyone else). Yet again, we visited another fantastic playground! I had never been to this one before (imagine that!) and it was probably the coolest playground I've ever seen. I had to grip the chair I was sitting in to keep myself from running up to the slide with Cayman! No, actually, I didn't because Cayman didn't really play on the equipment that much. (SO then, I would have really looked funny, running all over the equipment if my son wasn't even playing on it with me!) He had a truck, there was a wide open basketball court, and other little boys running everywhere. So he rarely spent any time on the actual playground!

Unfortunately, my camera was at home when we were at the park.....
