We started our morning off with a fun visit from Branden and Kim! They drove down here this morning to hang out with us (and meet my mommy) since they didn't have to work until 2. I love those two! They act like they're so comfortable with us - they walk in, pick the kids up and start talking to them, grab glasses from the cabinet to fix a drink for themselves, etc. I love that!
When they left, I decided to call Ian and see if he had taken his break yet. Since he hadn't, I decided to go eat lunch with him at the store. He put me to work as soon as I got there! :) Lucky for him, they didn't need me behind the counter. That just spells disaster! He just asked me to make a sign for a Christmas deal they have going on. After our lunch date, I took a box full of the kids' clothes to see if I could consign some more. I made about $15 today - I mainly sold some of Cayman's short sleeved polo shirts that had shrunk...or he outgrew - one or the other!
After nap while we waited for Ian to get home from work, we enjoyed the nice weather outside! It was fantastic. Cayman and Charis both love playing and being outside. Cayman found a plastic shovel in the garage, and then he decided that the mulch in our "yard" needed some fixing. That boy had so much fun digging little holes in the mulch. He is so funny. Overall we had a great day!
