"Where's My Camera?"

I just want you all to know that I put my kids' lives in danger to get pictures for this blog.

Ok. Maybe they're not in danger. But I definitely go run for my camera sometimes when they're in uncomfortable situations because I want to get a funny picture for my blog. Like this one of Charis. This is her playmat that she lays on and the bars hold toys that hang over her head. When I came out of the bathroom today, this is how I found her!



She was not thrilled that I ran for my camera instead of picking her up out of her little burrito that she somehow pulled down around herself! :)

Another fun tidbit from our day...

After supper tonight, I talked Cayman into eating "carrot sauce." He's a huge fun of applesauce. HUGE. "Appeesauce, peez?" So tonight when he was asking for a second (little) bowl of appeesauce, I started thinking, "I wish they made vegetables into a sauce like applesauce!" Then I realized I had just fed Charis a bowl full of sweet potatoes and corn...sauce... So instead of applesauce, I offered Cayman "carrot sauce!" (Unfortunately when I went to the pantry to get a jar of carrot baby food, I realized I only had mixed vegetables and sweet potatoes. So instead of carrots, he got sweet potatoes. But we still called it carrot sauce.
