Flashlight Tag

We were all up bright and early this morning - we had special guests coming over! Branden and Kim wanted to come over this morning, hang out with us, and then go and surprise Ian at his store. Cayman was absolutely thrilled with our guests. He asks about Miss Kim all the time. (Sorry Branden...your name is harder to say...and well, I guess he has just taken a liking to Kim!) Branden's feelings are definitely not hurt though, because Charis is his little girlfriend. She stares at him the entire time he's around us! We laugh at her all the time.

Speaking of Charis. Her fever is gone, but she is acting so funny! This morning she was fine, but this afternoon and tonight she was very cranky. I just don't know what to think about her right now.

At one point she was very happy tonight. Cayman and I went outside after supper to play flashlight tag. He was still a little too young for the actual game, but we had fun pretending we were playing! He looked for bugs in the grass. He pointed his flashlight at the stars and planes. He even pointed it at the security guard making his rounds on his golf cart. Eventually Charis and Ian came out to join us as well. Charis LOVES being outside (especially in comfortable weather). She likes to sit in the grass and pull it out and eat it! :)

Ian said that I have to add this funny story in the blog tonight... We were just finishing up dinner. Cayman was playing around on the patio where we were sitting. We had heard some of our neighbors out on their patios enjoying the gorgeous weather this evening also. All of a sudden, I let out a huge belch! It just slipped out. I promise. :) Ian started laughing silently and mouthed, "Alyson! The neighbors!" So quickly, I said, "Cayman! You know you're supposed to say 'Excuse me' after you burp like that." Cayman said, "Scuse me!" That's my boy. Taking one for the team... :)
