We found it! (Hopefully!!)

After church today, we went to see my dream house. I mean, this townhouse was soooo beautiful and perfect for us (except for the stairs, but we can get past that.) There's a two car garage, a nice kitchen with cherry cabinets and granite countertops, a screened in lanai with a counter height table and lounge chairs, a separate den set up as an office, two spare bedrooms with their own shared bathroom, a master suite (twice the size of our current bedroom) with his and her walk-in closets and a huge bathroom. Not to mention, the townhouse is located in a safe community with family friendly amenities, and it's only 3.73 miles from the store! Ok. I'm not getting my hopes up because we have not done any of the paperwork yet. But it would be fantastic if we were able to live in this house for the next 6 months!

We had an impromptu second FINAL get-together with the CFA team tonight. We had a great time...of course! We love hanging out with these guys! Poor Charis though. She did not have fun. First of all, someone came in wearing a hat, and hats scare that poor child like crazy! She hasn't been napping well for some reason. So she may have been a little grumpy because of that. But she also acted hungry. Then it was kind of loud with us playing Cranium out in the living room, so that might have woken her up a few times. I think she's finally asleep for the night. It has been really hard for me to figure out her eating schedule since we've started on solids. She doesn't like to eat solids in the morning. But it seems like she's starving at 10pm, and I have to feed her a jar of food, and then nurse her to get her to stay asleep at night. Something's off, and it bugs me to no end that I can't figure out her pattern. Ian jokes with me all the time because I always try to diagnose her, figure out what's wrong, how to fix an issue, etc. (I think all women do it; it just comes natural! But it probably does sound funny to men because they're just not wired that way!) We'll figure it out soon!

Man, ever since we've moved down to FL, we have experienced some of the strangest physical ailments...especially with the kids! This morning while I was dressing Cayman for church, I noticed that he had large (quarter size) welts on his body. He had a big one on his shoulder, another large one on his thigh, some smaller ones on his abdomen and back. But by the time we left for church they were gone! Then, when he woke up from nap, he had a huge welt on his forehead, and then others spread out over the rest of his body. I stripped his bed, searched for any trace of spiders or ants or mosquitoes, washed all the bedding in hot water...hopefully he won't wake up with them in the morning! I read online that some kids have a different type of reaction to mosquito bites than adults or other children, and there can be large welts on the body. The mosquitoes have been awful in the evening here recently because it's been so warm! If I see the welts tomorrow, I'm definitely calling the doctor about it.

(Sorry - I'll load the pictures tomorrow..........)
