Fun at the Park

This morning we went to the park with Kim, Gavin, and Dawn. (Dawn is mommy to Kim - who works with Ian - and Gavin - who is 2 1/2.) I had a blast!! I did make a mistake though. I brought out a ball for the boys to play with together. Cayman threw it to Gavin. Gavin picked it up and ran. ALL the way to a picnic shelter area. Where there just happened to be a couple of homeless men hanging out. And Cayman and two other kids chased Gavin to try to get the ball from him. ALL the way to the picnic shelter area. So Dawn, another mom, and me run/walk across the grassy field chasing down our kids. I think next time I'll just leave the ball in the van! Cayman was so exhausted when we left Wendy's after lunch. I could not wait to get him home to put him to bed. Would you believe he refused to take a nap today?! I have no idea how he was able to stay awake. But he did. Stayed in his bed the whole time though. I definitely will not complain about that! I have no earthly idea what he does, laying in his bed, for 3 HOURS, but he does. Occasionally I hear him singing songs. He and Boo are probably singing duets. Oh. But two things he did do today during his playtime in the bed...poopy and rip the cover off one of my favorite hard back books! Well, the book isn't mine. It was Cayman's. But it was one of my favorites to read to him. You get the idea.

So because Cayman took no nap which made him relatively cranky the rest of the night, I decided that I needed to take some of that "me" time that I wrote about yesterday. I needed my chance to miss Cayman today! Haha. So I went to Target. Walked around for a while. I bought Charis size 2 diapers....finally....6 months old (in three days) and she's finally moved up to size 2 diapers. I can't be 100% sure, but I think Cayman was in size 2 when he was 2-3 months old! My sweet baby girl...so pretty and petite!

Still working on my new blog...I want to make sure that I REALLY want to use blogspot before I switch...again...for the final time! :)
