[/caption]We had to go to the grocery store today - we were out of essentials, you know, milk, bread, oreos...all the stuff you NEED in the house. I have no idea when we'll be moving, so I wanted to make sure that I had enough in the house so that I wouldn't have to go grocery shopping again but not so much so I won't have to pack our entire pantry to move to the new place. The kids were fantastic in the store. Charis usually seems to get fussy in the checkout line, so I will not complain if she can make it that long! Cayman was smushed in the cart again, but he didn't have to get out and walk this time.
After the kids went down for their naps, I started looking online for more houses. We liked that house yesterday, but I think both Ian and I felt like we could rent that one if nothing better came along. So I looked in a different area today, and I think I may have found something that will work for us! It's 3 miles from the store (closer than the house yesterday), it's a townhouse in a gated community with amenities (no pool right out the backdoor!), so we're hoping it will work out! We are going to see it tomorrow right after church. I'm trying not to get my hopes up this time like I did after we went and looked at the very first house in an extremely fantastic neighborhood called Sandoval. It was pretty much the coolest community I've ever seen! :) But it doesn't look like it'll work out, so the Lord must have something much better in store for us!

Ian received another super sweet gift from one of the girls that works at the store today (since it was his last day working there...technically!) She made a little scrapbook of some of the events we've had since we've been at Port Charlotte. Then she wrote Ian a card that said she wanted to give him something to remember them by, that we've made her a better person, that Ian has pushed her towards excellence, that she was really going to miss us but she knew that God was leading us to where we needed to be...I started crying! THIS is why we're in this business! I LOVE that my husband (and I) have the chance everyday to make such an impact on a teenager's life - that he pushes her in such a way that encourages her to be a better person and someone that strives to be excellent in her work and personal life. Ian is going to make such an awesome operator one day. I am so glad that we are having these opportunities to work with so many different types of people and to impact so many people's lives. Yet again, the Lord has given us confirmation that we're still heading in the right direction, that we haven't veered from the path that we felt Him leading us down.
Ian had to go back to work tonight (at the new store) to work on end of the month inventory (tomorrow, he has to go to the mall store to do end of the month there!) So after he left, Cayman and I had fun playing together. He started driving his truck up my arm ("Dat tickle, mama?") and somehow, this is what we ended up doing... How we got from point A to point B? I will never understand the mind of a 2 year old.......
Ok I'm crying. Are you happy? Who took that last pic? you? If so how?
