[/caption]Today was our first day back in FL. We were EXHAUSTED. Poor Ian though. He really had to get right back in the swing of things -- he left the house at 7:45. The rest of us, ALL of us, slept until 9:30! Charis has been waking up around midnight to eat, and then up like clockwork at 8am. So when I hadn't heard a peep from her at 9:30 this morning after putting her to bed at 9:30 last night, I was scared! I hurried to her room first when I heard Cayman waking up in his room, and she was laying on her back watching the ceiling fan going around! We all enjoyed our breakfast, and then I asked Cayman if he wanted to go play at Carson's house, so that I could go to my final Bible study. (We have played with Carson at MNT and occasionally for a playdate, but the ENTIRE time we were in NC, Cayman consistently asked about Carson and Mace. Ian and I have no idea why he remembers Carson like he does -- neither one of us ever said anything about Carson or Mason or any of his friends while we were in NC because we were so stinkin' busy! But he mentioned Carson at least 10 times during our flight back to Florida. It was hilarious.) Cayman jumped at the chance to go to Carson's house; he said, "Shoes on Mommy?" That means, "Let's go!" So we hurried and changed clothes, brushed teeth, etc. I literally changed clothes and brushed my teeth - didn't touch my hair or put on makeup. I took Cayman to Carson's house. Then hurried over to the Bible study. I was an hour late -- so that meant I had missed fellowship/eating time and small group time. But I got to hear most of the DVD. I really just wanted to go because it was the last time that Bible study group would meet, so I wanted to be there.

When we got home, I fixed Cayman's lunch, fed Charis, and then started the daunting task of emptying all of the suitcases and bags. 2 suitcases, 2 carry-ons, 2 bookbags, and about 3 hours later, I had emptied and put away all of the bags, and completed 3 loads of laundry. I think I still have 2 loads left. I did 1 load in Raleigh. And despite the loads that I did leading up to the trip, I had about 2 loads waiting on me when I got home. But I've gotten almost all of the clothes washed/folded/put away. (For those of you who really know me, you KNOW that I despise laundry. Well, not so much the washing and drying, just the folding, putting away, and especially hanging up...strange, I know.) All of the team members are coming over Sunday afternoon to carve pumpkins and eat chili (I am sooo excited!) so now that our place looks like a tornado just came through and scattered all of our earthly belongings all over the place, I've got to get everything straightened up before then! I will definitely be busy tomorrow! Maybe my kids will just magically feed themselves, change their own diapers, find Boo when he's run away, play alone, and put themselves in their beds, so that I can just clean all day long. Ok. That's stretching it. We all know I wouldn't clean ALL day long.

[/caption]Have I mentioned recently how much I love being a wife and mommy? I do. I promise! (Even when Cayman doesn't take a nap, which causes him to be grumpy the rest of the day, which results in him hitting mommy not once, not twice, but three times tonight...which means he gets spankings and time-outs...but then that means we get to make-up so I get little boy hugs and kisses. Those are pretty special!)
