Things you never want to hear from the bathroom...

So since we've started potty training, we've heard quite a few funny things coming out of the bathroom. Some things I'll elaborate on....others are better left to your own imagination! Hope you like potty humor! We sure do!!

  • "Daddy, look! It's a snake! Dat snake moving!"

  • "Buddy, it's all tangled up! Let me help you untangle it." (I don't even know about this one...but when I heard it from the other room while the boys were in the bathroom together, I had to chuckle.)

  • "Mama, dat hippo?" (Cayman referring to his own poop in the potty.)

  • "Oh no! Mommy I poop poop on chair!" (This is what Cayman said after he had an accident sitting at the supper table tonight. It was pee pee though, not poop. He still gets the two a little mixed up.)

  • "Uh oh, Mommy. Charis poop poop in the water!"

  • "No Charis, you can't play in Cayman's potty..."

  • "No Charis, you can't eat the toilet paper."

  • "No Charis, you can't play with the plunger."

Speaking of potty training...Cayman wore undies again today. He's not all that thrilled to wear undies. And he doesn't like having to quit whatever he's doing to sit on the potty! But. We'll get there. He still hasn't told me he's had to go potty. But he didn't have any accidents until supper time tonight. I think he got a total of 7 stickers all day long. 3 of those stickers came from when he pooped and peed on the potty at the same time! I was super happy about that one! There's nothing worse than poopy in undies. :)

Ok enough about Cayman and potty talk. I'll harp some on Charis. Because the child is out of control! Ok, maybe not out of control, but she is very, very busy. I was telling Ian that I don't remember Cayman keeping me so busy when he was her age. Maybe he did and I've just forgotten. Or maybe it's just that we have a much larger house now than when Cayman was her age. Or maybe it's that I'm keeping up with 2 kiddos instead of just the one. Whatever it is, the child is busy. She's discovered the trash can, and tonight while I was in the kitchen cooking supper, she came to the trashcan at least 7 times. Every time I would say "No Charis. No touch." Sometimes I would (lightly) pop her hand. (Every time I would tell her no, she would look up at me and smile! Little goober!) But she just kept on coming back for more! She is VERY strong-willed. I have a feeling we're going to have our hands full with that one.

I forgot to mention also that 2 days after Charis was so sick with that fever/runny nose, we saw her third tooth slighting poking through up top! So she's now the owner of 3 teeth. :)
