A friend from Port Charlotte texted me this afternoon to ask if we would be interested in going to Chuck E Cheese tonight. Ian couldn't believe people actually go to Chuck E Cheese for something other than a birthday party! But we did, and we had fun...Ian and I had fun. More than Cayman, I think. Well, Cayman told us he had fun, but you definitely couldn't tell by looking at his face! He was stoic the ENTIRE time. I am not exaggerating. The one time I saw him smile was when he was going down the toddler slide and I jumped at him and scared him. But, that's my boy. Whenever he's fully enjoying something, and he's in a new environment, he is very serious and never cracks a smile. It was great to see our friend and her two sweet girls...but Chuck E Cheese definitely isn't the place to catch up with a girlfriend you haven't seen in a while! :) Maybe tomorrow though, because we have plans to go to the park. Maybe we'll get to sit for a while and chit chat while the kiddos play! (Yeah right...haha!)
