Ian took the day off today - I guess you could say he got 2 days off in a row...but yesterday was NOT fun since the poor guy was sick all day! He had already scheduled this day off last week and was going to surprise me this morning when we woke up. We decided to do something fun as a family. So we took Cayman for his first mini golfing trip! I don't think he liked it as much as bowling. Swinging the club was a little difficult for him. After the third or fourth hole, he decided rolling the golf ball would be much easier. Ian tried to get him to swing the club every hole after that. He did sometimes, but most of the time he just wanted to roll it. We had so much fun together! I love it when Ian gets to take a day off every now and then - he really likes to make the most of them and spend time with us.

When we got home, Ian and I got right to work! We worked for 4 hours straight on Chick-fil-A stuff and housework. At the store on Saturday, they're having a Princess Christmas Tea Party. I made numbered cards to place on each table as well as raffle cards for a Christmas dress drawing they're having for the little girls. I finally completed our photo Christmas cards as well. Let's see. We also wrapped a few more gifts, and I addressed and put together the packages we're mailing to our families for Christmas. Ian made phone calls to local businesses for prizes/gifts to give his employees. The store's Christmas party (for employees) is Sunday night. He's got to have all the gifts lined up by then.
I love spending time with my family. Cayman is at such a fun age right now. Charis is at such an easy age right now -- she just tags along and is so easy going! And of course, Ian is fun no matter how old he gets! ;)
