The Park!

This morning we went to our favorite park (Lakes Regional Park) with some of our favorite people (Amie, Hudson, and Emmy)! It was a gorgeous day, and a lot of families took advantage of the weather and went out to the park. This is South Florida's busiest time of the year, so everything seems to be a lot more crowded...the roads, the beaches, the stores, the parks...everything! (It's been great for Ian's store!)

Cayman had so much fun at the park, and he was so sad when I told him it was time to go. We took a picnic lunch to enjoy with our friends. Charis enjoyed watching the birds hanging around waiting for our food droppings. The kids ate very quickly and ran off to play some more! Then they all took turns pushing Charis in the swing.

Today Cayman has said something so funny to me - he's said it many times, and it makes me want to laugh each time because it sounds so cute coming from a two year old. We were leaving Chick-fil-A this morning (I had to get my sunglasses from Ian's vehicle and a drink with my favorite rat poop ice), and Cayman asked what we were doing. I said, "I needed to get my glasses and a drink from Daddy." "Oh. Dats a good idea." He's resting on the couch (since he's refused to take his nap today) and heard me typing out my blog. He whispered (because he knows he needs to be quiet while Charis is sleeping), "Mom, what you pressing?" I said, "I'm just typing on the computer." "Oh. Dats a good idea."
