This super simple and delectably delicious dessert will please any crowd! (Mom, that alliteration is for you!)
I found the recipe on the back of an empty graham cracker box that I was getting ready to recycle. As I read it, I decided to make it for some sweet dinner guests we had over last night (our Florida grandparents - Jim and Gail.) It has been EXTREMELY difficult to avoid the freezer today because I want to eat all of the leftovers! So here you have it... "Ice Cream" Graham Sandwich
1 package (3.4oz) instant pudding (chocolate was DELICIOUS)
1 cup cold milk
1 1/2 cups thawed Cool Whip
16 graham crackers broken in half (32 squares)
Beat pudding mix and milk in medium bowl with whisk for 2 minutes. (Pudding will be thick.) Stir in cool whip.
Spoon onto graham squares. Top each with second graham square to make a sandwich; press together gently to secure. Place in shallow pan; cover.
Freeze 2 hours or until frozen. Transfer to airtight container. Store in freezer up to 2 weeks (I promise, they won't be in there THAT long!)
great googlie mooglie...i just made these, and although they are not frozen yet, my "testers" (aka - 4 whole sandwiches) were absolutely delicious! thanks for sharing....i always need fun (and easy) new recipes!
