Chick-fil-A Boxcar Derby

Tonight was the 2nd annual Boxcar Derby race at Ian's store. (Obviously he wasn't there for last year's...so it was our first!) Apparently the turnout doubled from last year, so we'd say it was a big success. It definitely was a lot of fun! We hadn't planned on participating because I wasn't sure that we'd be there the entire time. But Kim, her mom, and Gavin met us there to hang out some (Kim is on spring break right now so she's in town) so we did end up staying the whole time. And as soon as we got there, Mrs. Lili (the marketing director) asked if Cayman would like to race a car - someone had brought some extras for kids that wanted to race but didn't have a car. So Cayman got to race a car. He came in 2nd both times his car raced...and...I wasn't really paying attention too well as to whether his number got called more than those two times to race. So maybe he could have raced more than that, but I was too busy keeping up with him in the crowd, talking to Kim and her mom, feeding Charis (the bottomless pit), and making sure other customers dodged the throw-up in the parking lot (a little girl threw up FEET away from us all over the place...UGH!) Anyways. Hopefully a great time was had by all! Except for the family whose little girl threw up everywhere. I'm sure they didn't have a very good ending to their evening....
