I swore I wasn't going to blog tonight...

But now, here I sit at 12:15...the house is quiet. Everyone is sleeping. I should be too! (Stupid mello-yellow....) So what do I do? Blog!

We had such a fun day today! We met our friends Natalia (who is VERY pregnant with another little boy) and Mason at the fountains this morning. Another friend, Beth, also met us there with her two little girls. I have missed those fountains - the ones where we used to frequent when we lived in Port Charlotte. But I think I've missed the friends more! Being there brought back fond memories of our first few months in Florida, where I met many sweet ladies and built fun friendships. The main difference: Charis slept or sat in the bumbo the entire time we were there last year! Today she was moving everywhere! She LOVED playing in the water - she went straight for the fountains...absolutely no fear! It was hilarious. Cayman, just like last year, was far more interested in what snacks all the moms brought. Of course Miss Natalia (whose belly Cayman likes...he told me so in the van on the way to lunch) had plenty of fun treats that Mom never thinks to bring. We had a great time! I can't wait to go back and plan playdates with some of our other PC friends. I've missed them all....

Then tonight, we delivered our cake pops! They were a huge hit! (Or either everyone just wanted to make me feel extra special...) Cayman helped Ian hand them out to the employees, and he gave them the special message behind the cake pops - that we are so thankful for their hard work and that we think they're doing a great job! We stayed a little longer than I thought we would - but that was fine by me because I spent about 30 minutes talking with Nereida, a sweet girl (I say girl, but she's 20) that works at the store. I learned a lot about her, and it's always great for me to make those connections with team members! We ended up going to Five Guys with the GM (Paul) and Nereida, and we had a great time.

I have plenty of pictures from the fountains today. But for now I'm gonna go read my Bible some and try to fall asleep!
