What We've Been Waiting For...

Well, I should say, "What Ian's been waiting for..." Don't get me wrong - I'm excited and all, but not NEARLY as excited as my hubby!

Our iPhones arrived in the mail today! And then Ian spent about an hour with someone on the phone trying to get our contacts switched over to our iPhones. And then I took him out on our Valentine's Day date since I won't be in town. And then we hung out with Tricia and the girls who had come over to babysit. And then we had to put the kids down for bed. So the poor man didn't really get to play on his toy until after 9! Thankfully it didn't seem to bother him. :) Needless to say, the TV has not been on at all tonight! We've been exploring the world of the iPhone.

One of the first messages I sent on my phone said: "Charisma cam eat pizza too just not the pepos." What the message should have said was: "Charis can eat pizza too, just not the pepps." [I was not EVEN going to try to type out pepperonis!] So...I've got my work cut out for me learning how to type on this crazy contraption!

Cayman played this silly "game" (if you can call it that) on Ian's iPhone about some cat. You can make the cat drink milk. And then he poots. And you can slap the cat, punch him in the gut, stomp on his foot and make him fall down. But Cayman's favorite part is making the cat poot. Super educational... I won't lie though. If a pooting cat will keep him occupied and quiet on a two hour flight, you better believe that child will be playing! :)

Back to our date night - I took Ian for a fun "boy's" date. We went to this place called Mike Greenwell's and rode go-karts and played a round of mini-golf. (I let Ian beat me at mini-golf....you ladies know we have to do that every now and then!) Then we went to Applebee's and picked up dinner to take home with us so we could hang out with Tricia and the girls before they left to go home. I had so much fun with my hubby! It's amazing how quick a game of mini-golf is when you're not playing with a two year old!

Here are the first two pictures I took with my iPhone!
