My dad thinks Cayman is advanced for his age - there have been quite a few reasons for that belief these past couple of weeks. But Daddy was very impressed with Cayman's reasoning skills this evening as Cayman was helping him remodel the upstairs room (the LAST room in the house to be remodeled; now my parents can say that they have remodeled every room in the house...some rooms have been done more than once!) Cayman started helping Big Al hang the dry wall upstairs. Dad needed the dry wall screws, but they were in a big bucket all the way across the room from where he was working. So Cayman walked across the room, picked up a screw, and took it back to Dad. Dad was so impressed that it only took Cayman two trips to figure out that it would be much more beneficial if he took a number of screws to Dad all at the same time. Later on, he realized it would be even better if he grabbed a whole handful! I suggested he put the screws in his play tool belt (I wasn't too comfortable with him just holding that many screws in his bare hand....) Anyways. My little man seems to have a good head on his shoulders! Trust me - he gets it from his daddy... :)
