Day 6 - June 9 - Thursday
The Moody's decided to take a break this day! We were thoroughly SPANKED after two theme parks in two days! We stayed at the house with Mom, Daddy, and Kathy. The rest of the family went somewhere called Gatorland. While I do think Cayman would have liked seeing the humungous alligators, and his "namesake" the Caiman crocodile (just kidding - we didn't really name him after that, but people ask sometimes), Ian and I didn't want to spend the money on it nor did we want to spend a third day in a row walking around in the heat. But.... as you will see, we got a little bored at home, and decided to go out again later in the afternoon!
You may remember that Paul gave us a Disney giftcard. Other than using it on the Disney website, we didn't know if we would get another chance to go shopping at Disney stores. So after the kids woke up from their naps, we decided to go back out to Downtown Disney and do some exploring in the daytime. I'm so glad we want! It's even more fun in the sunlight. But - we did end up walking quite a bit, which kind of went against what we said we were going to do when we woke up that morning! But it was worth it, and the kids got to spend their money from Paul. Charis got her first Minnie Mouse, and Cayman chose a light-up bubble gun.
Cayman couldn't wait for his cousins to get back from the pool so he could show them his new bubble gun! We had such a great time as a family at Downtown Disney!
