Day 3 - June 6 - Monday

Today we did a lot of relaxing. We spent time enjoying our pool out back and we ventured off to the "big pool" (or the neighborhood pool). 3 of the men went to play golf - Ian, my Daddy, and my older brother, Jason. My brother Clark doesn't like playing golf - he says that if he were going to spend that much time in the woods, he may as well take a gun and do some hunting! :) Speaking of Clark...Cayman and Charis had so much fun playing with him! He was one of the first ones up everyday, so he got to spend a lot of time with the kids in the mornings. Charis adores him, which is saying a lot, because it takes her a while to warm up to people. She started saying something that sounded like "Clark" while we were in Orlando. It was more like "cahhh" but you have to kind of growl when you say it. She growls a lot. She has also started copying us more and more! She's very verbal...and extremely loud. Like....L-O-U-D. If she's quiet, she's in trouble. Otherwise she's making noises all the time. My poor Daddy spends a lot of time without his hearing aids in whenever he's around her! :) Anyways. Back to Day 3.

We also spent a couple of hours outside just before the sun went down on this particular day taking family pictures. We all wore khaki shorts, and then each family chose a color to wear on top. We chose pink, my parents and youngest brother wore green, Jason's family wore navy blue, and Clark's family wore red. Scott's friend, Roy, was there to take the big group picture for us. We debated hiring a professional photographer since we've never done that before. But...we opted for the economic route instead! While I'm sure a photographer would have done much better with posing and editing, I like the pictures we ended up with! Now all we need to do is combine them all from everyone's cameras.

There's a story behind the matching Adidas shirts... When Fanny (the caddy that stays at my parent's house during Master's Week) left this year, she left behind 6 or 7 of these shirts! They were super nice, practically brand new, so the guys all got a couple and they decided to wear them to play golf today.
