Today, Mom and I (mostly Mom - I was on kid duty) finished our week long (plus some extra days) project of painting all the trim work, baseboards, and crown molding in their bedroom white.
Yesterday, after days of painting, Dad brought in a can of Kilz (primer.) Better late than never! When I suggested we take it on as a project, I never imagined it would take THAT long to paint over that color blue. HO. LY. COW. Sometimes we realized we were putting the 5th and 6th coat of paint on things. Absurd, I tell you.
Mom has agreed never to paint any type of molding any color but white for the remainder of her life.

We got our lease today in the mail! We're going to sign it when we're together this weekend, get it notarized, and mail the lease back to our landlords along with a hefty check :( but then the house will be ours once they're all moved out! Can't wait to get to EC and make a house OUR home! With all of OUR stuff! And all of OUR furniture! And a CRIB for our daughter! And our couch. And our TV. And our mattress.... Oh my. I could go on and on! So, so excited to move to our new city! "Wilbeth City" here we come!!
