So, these pictures are a lot less exciting than I thought. :/ A couple of weekends ago, we were in a parade for Elizabeth City State University's Homecoming Parade. Chick-fil-A was a sponsor, so we got a spot in the parade long...right in front of the ECSU Alumni Parade. I was pretty sure that I had at least taken a picture of the kids dancing to the bands practicing right near us in the parade...or maybe someone had taken a picture of them with their heads out the windows waving at the crowds...or standing up out of the sun roof waving to everyone...but no. This first picture is all you get. And it's within the first 3 minutes of us arriving in the parade line, waiting for it to start. Charis was quite nervous about the bands playing, especially the loud drums. (They were literally right across the street from us and were really loud.) And Cayman rarely looks at the camera, much less smiles. So. Boring picture is what you get! Oh well. So sorry to disappoint. :)
