...at 30 months old...
Yeah, I was just a little late getting her in for her 2 year well visit. But it actually turned out perfectly that it was so late. She happened to come down with something 2 days before her appointment, so we were able to knock out two appointments at the same time, but they still treated it as a well-visit instead of a sick visit! So that was nice.
She had to get her finger pricked for the first time. And thankfully, she didn't freak out or even cry. (She's a little uneasy at the doctor's office...most of the time, she is very easy going, but not at the doctor's office!) She weighs 27, almost 28 pounds. And she's exactly 3ft tall. She's in the 25th% for weight and 75th% for height. Those figures have pretty much stayed the same since the day she was born! Tall and lean... I wonder who she gets that from?? I'll give you a hint - it definitely IS NOT her mama! :) The only "major" thing we discussed is her speech. She is definitely a little advanced compared to some of her peers as far as her speech goes. She has been talking for so long now that her cute little speech impediments have become more of a concern than they were in the beginning. She can't (or won't or doesn't) pronounce some consonants at the beginning of words - she has problems with the s, l, th, z, and f sounds. The doctor still isn't concerned because those are the last sounds some children learn. So we'll wait to be concerned too! Overall, we have a healthy little girl!
| She may not have freaked out about her finger prick, but she is definitely a drama queen... |
| Busy little man. Who likes to dress himself now. If you can't tell. ;) |
