Cayman's Celebration - Part 1

Three months ago, Cayman told us that he wanted to go to a Braves game for his birthday. We decided that we should ask our GA family if they wanted to go with us since some live near Atlanta and the rest live 2.5 hours away from the stadium. I'm so glad we invited everyone because it was so much fun! It was HOT, as is to be expected in August in Atlanta. And it was supposed to rain most of the evening, but we're thankful that the Lord held all that rain in the clouds because it definitely looked like tornado weather at times!! It sprinkled a few times when it was perfect for cooling us all off. Ian and I kept in touch with our employees back in NC because of all the controversy taking place all over nation that day/night in Chick-fil-As. We're thankful that we received very little hardship compared to what many other restaurants experienced! (If we had known three months ago what all would be taking place, our little boy most likely would have been celebrating his birthday a little later! But I'm proud of Ian - it required a lot of faith in his team to leave them at that particular time, and he proved that he has all the faith in the world in them!) Overall we had a great time, and I have the name and number of a very helpful Braves ticket office employee if anyone ever needs some help buying tickets. :)

We walked to a restaurant a block away from the stadium that
I highly DO NOT recommend for families. Good food,
HORRIBLE atmosphere. Lol. Lesson learned. At least I had a
nice cup of ice to help me make the walk back.

At the stadium!

Waiting in the HOT SUN for the game to start!

Uncle Scott and Christine

Garrett and Cayman

Hard to read, but the sign says "Welcome Cayman!" We got to
put a sign on the scrolling board since we bought group
tickets. Too bad he can't recognize his name yet. :)

Cayman will tell you that if you dance at the Braves game, you
get on the big TV. That's what happened with these three
crazy dancing machines!

The whole group - Top row: Cayman, Harper, Garrett, Big Al,
Graysan, Jason, Christine, Scott. Bottom Row: Grammy, Clark,
Kathy, Charis, Ian, and Me! And Baby C. :)
(We missed you, Allison!!!)
