The other day I discovered Charis working on something very quietly near our backdoor. She found our box of outdoor chalk. And for the first time, she decided to decorate our walls! Thankfully it was JUST chalk, and she was able to clean it right off with a baby wipe. I laugh every time I see the picture though at her guilty looking face!
Now that the news is out - we have decided to move Charis to a big girl bed in preparation for November when her crib will be occupied by another sweet little baby! So late last week, Ian and his special helpers went to work removing one of the sides of Charis' bed. She has done so well with the "move." I have hammered into her little head that she's not allowed to get out of bed without mommy or daddy in her room, and so far it has worked, just as it did with Cayman! She stands at the foot of her bed, just like she did when it was a crib, and calls for one of us to come and get her. "MOMMMY! I wake up!!!" :) I'm so proud of my sweet baby girl!! Next up?? POTTY TRAINING!!!
