Funny Cayman

This may be a little graphic for some of you, but I find it hilarious, so I'm going to share! Just be forewarned!

So in our bathroom, there sits a box, which may sit in your bathroom once a month as well! My lovely tampon box... As any mom knows, you never, and I do mean never, get a chance to use the bathroom in privacy if your children are awake. And because of a towel hook that hangs on our toilet room door, you cannot close and lock the door. Literally. I NEVER get privacy to use the bathroom. Which, as you can guess, anything and everything I do in the bathroom is watched by little eyes.

With that being said, there's a bit more background that I must tell you before I get to the funny part of the story. Ever since Cayman could walk, maybe even before then, we have an after bath time ritual. Once he's dried off, he runs from the bathroom butt naked into the living room or kitchen screaming, "It's naked nunu!!!" He turns into naked nunu man every night after his bath. Don't ask questions. You know you have silly rituals with your kids too! It wasn't until this past week that I realized "nunu" has taken on a new meaning for Cayman.

I first discovered this when Cayman asked me if my nunu had a boo boo. I will refrain from details, but I think any woman can imagine what I'm saying. "Nunu" now has a new meaning. Fabulous. So tonight, following dinner and playtime, I whispered to Ian that I was going to use the bathroom, secretly hoping for a bit of privacy after a busy, loud evening. As soon as I sat upon my throne however, I heard the pitter patter of little feet running down our long bedroom towards the bathroom. Cayman immediately saw my box of tampons sitting on the floor. He picked one up and said, "Mommy, you can use this on your nunu when you're done pooping!" Geez louise. I wasn't even pooping! If I must be honest, I was sitting for pete's sake! Trying to enjoy some peace and quiet. And in marches some little boy telling me what I must do to my nunu!

Everyone should have a 2, almost 3, year old running around the house all day. I can assure you, there's never a dull moment.
