Branden's Visit

Yesterday, Branden (old coworker from the CFA in Port Charlotte and now a good friend of the family) came for a visit. He and Ian met at our church (the kids and I were supposed to go, but Cayman started running a fever Saturday night, and both kids have been coughing and have runny noses...here we go again!) I was bummed I missed out on another service, but I can always listen online this week!

So once the boys finally got home from church, I made lunch, the kids got up from their naps (naptime is a subject for a whole different post these days....I pretty much just want to cry all afternoon because naptimes are pretty much nonexistent these days for both children....gag me), we all ate, and then we headed to the pool! (Branden packed his bathing suit just in case!) It was a gorgeous day for the pool. And when we got downstairs and out of the garage, Branden had a big surprise for Cayman!!

A motorcycle!! Branden's new ride! We just knew Cayman was going to LOVE the motorcycle. BUT... as you can see from his face, he was pretty terrified to be sitting on it. So we headed off to the pool, instead.

Charis actually wore her glasses today! I love them!

She has been so clingy recently, but not with her boyfriend Branden!! :)

Our strong-willed (sometimes we prefer the term "stubborn") child -- walking right out into our (thankfully quiet) street.

We're so thankful we have gotten to meet some really awesome people during our time here in Florida!!
