Buccaneer Breakfast

This morning we headed out early (we were in the van by 9am!) to go to Chick-fil-A. This month's big event was a "Buccaneer Breakfast." Last night I went to help Lili (marketing director) and her family decorate the store. I thought it turned out great! It kind of looked like a "Pirates of the Caribbean" pirate ship. The employees all dressed up as pirates. The "Great Pirate" (Lili's husband) wore an outfit right from the movie. He was fantastic with all the kids! There was a treasure hunt, balloon swords and parrots, face painting and fun pirate things laid out on all the tables.

Cayman was definitely unsure when we walked in and saw Mr. Paul (whom Cayman knows and loves) all dressed up as a pirate. It took some coaxing to get him through the doors. But then. The cow came out dressed as a pirate, and all was well! Both of my kids adore the cow. (That's a good thing considering they'll be around the cows for the rest of their lives!) Charis didn't know what to think of Ian though. She finally warmed up to him as we were leaving. She even let him give her a kiss. When we first saw him, she did not want a thing to do with him! He definitely played the part today! :)

Enjoy our pictures!

Great decorations - especially love the "lanterns" made out of paper bags!
