Haircuts for Everyone!

This morning I woke up with Charis, we took a shower together, and Ian and I had every intention of heading to church. However, the cacophony of coughing produced by me, Charis and Cayman was enough to send us all back to bed. Literally! The four of us laid/played in our bed for a good hour. Our habitual morning coughing spells ceased (you know, after sleeping for an entire night with minimal coughing, your body has to make up for lost time...I coughed so much this morning I was light-headed!), noses were wiped and blown (can you believe Charis will blow her nose for us sometimes?!), and then Ian decided he and Cayman needed haircuts. I really needed my bangs trimmed, but once I got there, I realized I could really use a trim all over.

So, the nice people at Great Clips hooked us up with great haircuts. Cayman sat by himself in the chair for the first time. He did not move a single muscle the whole time. He barely nodded or shook his head when he was asked a question. It was hilarious. He did answer yes when the lady asked him if he wanted his hair spiked up before he left! I was so proud of him sitting there like a big boy! (I started my haircut before Cayman was finished, so I missed taking a picture of him with his good-behavior lollipop!)

Of course Charis did not get a haircut..we try to hold onto every single itty-bitty strand of her hair! But she sat in her stroller and watched Daddy and Bubba get their haircuts like a champ (however she received no good-behavior lollipop....) :)
