This year, we (as a restaurant), participated in the Elizabeth City Christmas Parade. Our marketing director, Robin, worked so hard on our float, and I think she did a fantastic job! We were the only float in the parade that produced snow and created a winter wonderland for the audience. :) And of course our cows and cute kids were a huge hit! Cayman and Charis had a blast playing in the snow on the float. They were a little too distracted to wave to the crowd. And boy, was there a crowd!! Both sides of the street were PACKED with people! It was so fun to actually recognize people in the crowd. Last year, if we had participated, I may have been able to see one family that I knew. So this year, it was fun to see lots of people we know from church, the restaurant, or just from around our community. It made me realize just how many special friends we have made during our time in Elizabeth City.
