Just a warning. This will be the first of 5 Christmas posts! We were busy this holiday season, but it was well worth all the craziness! We had so much fun visiting with family and friends.
Our new neighborhood apparently throws a Christmas party every year. We had no idea what to expect, since it was our first one, obviously. But it turned out to be a lot of fun! All of the people that we do know in our neighborhood already were unable to attend the party. So we made lots of new friends at the party. Too bad I didn't carry a pen and notepad so I could make notes of who lives where, kids' names, moms that stay at home, etc. etc. There were probably 10 different residences in attendance; we all brought sides and desserts to accompany a ham that the association president fixed for the meal; the kids all received a small gift from SANTA who stopped by for a visit; fun was had by all! This was probably the 2nd time my kids have seen Santa. In our family, we visit with the Santa Cow during Christmas. :) But they did have a good time talking to Santa this year. Charis was a little nervous, but she sat in his lap the whole time and told him that she wanted Dora for Christmas. (First time we heard that all season long...) :) Even Callie got to sit on Santa's lap! We had a great time, and my children will forever believe that Santa lives in the rooms in the back of our neighborhood clubhouse.
(These pictures are backwards in order... And I'm too lazy and tired to reverse the order tonight. At least they're on here!!)
