We had such a great, relaxing Thanksgiving Day. We stayed at home. We cooked lots of food. We fed babies. Oh wait, I'm the only one that did that. :) The kids had a great time playing outside with Molly (mom and dad's dog). We have so much to be thankful for in our family. This year, at the fore front of our minds, was the healthy birth of our sweet Callie. I'm so glad that she was AT HOME for Thanksgiving. Her due date was 2 days before Thanksgiving, so I'm so glad we were at home with an almost 2 week old than at home with a 40 week old fetus in my belly OR in the hospital with a newborn! Yet again, God truly has a plan for everyone and knows exactly what He's doing!
Unfortunately, Grammy and Big Al had to go home today (Friday, the day after Thanksgiving). We miss them already, but we're so thankful for the time we had with them! I just don't know what I would have done without my mama here the past two weeks! I'm so thankful for all that she did to help us in the two weeks following Callie's birth. I'm so blessed to have her as a mom, and I'm so blessed to have a Daddy who is understanding and willing to share his wife for a little while!!
