On Wednesday (Nov. 21), Callie turned two weeks old! She has added so much joy and happiness to our lives and family. There's not really that much to share as far as growth, activities, etc. are concerned. But we did go to her 2 week well-visit today, and she is growing beautifully! Here are her stats from the doctor's office.
Weight: 7lbs, 10oz - 34%
Length: 20.5in - 50%
Yes! My little girl has gained well over a pound since her last visit (where she weighed in at 6lbs, 4oz - 10%.) And when she was born, she was 19.5in long, so in two weeks, she has grown a full inch. Dr. Robinson was very pleased with her growth. He did detect a slight heart murmur, but he's not concerned with it and thinks it will go away before too long. (I have had a heart murmur my entire life and it has given me no problems, so we aren't too concerned with the news either!)
The day before Thanksgiving, (Nov. 21, exactly 2 weeks old) Callie's cord fell off. Which meant she got to take a real bath for the first time! She still isn't a fan of being naked, so she didn't really care for her bath too much. But I'm sure she'll learn to love it!!
