We had such a good time at Charis's birthday party. We're so thankful for the friends that were able to come out and share her special day with us!! I just read another mom's post about her twins' 5th "Seussical" birthday party...she definitely went ALL OUT theme-wise. Me? Not so much! I had thought about going with an orange/pink theme. But it was so windy outside the afternoon of her party that some of my ideas didn't really pan out so well. And, it was so warm outside the afternoon of her party that the adults mostly stayed inside where I put out NO decorations whatsoever. We all just hung out around the snacks...decorations on their own I suppose! :)
At the last minute, Ian remembered that one of his employees, Robin, has a bounce house, so he asked to borrow that for the party. He also went to Chick-fil-A and picked up our cornhole game and our popcorn maker. All three were great additions to the party and I'm glad he thought to do so!
