I am fairly certain Ian and I are going to have some explaining to do when we arrive at Grammy and Big Al's house to retrieve our kids. And by that I mean, we're going to have to explain to Cayman and Charis why they have to leave to come back home! They have been having such a good time. Mom told me today that Cayman was given free rein to a junk type drawer that contains all kinds of screwdrivers, screws, bolts, nuts, chains, etc. etc. She also gave him a cleaned 2-liter bottle to collect his findings. He played with that bottle ALL DAY LONG. I'm telling you - the things that keep that child occupied blow my mind! Charis has also started climbing out of the pack in play at night - last night, she called mom in the middle of the night sometime, and mom heard her over the monitor. When Mom went upstairs to Charis' room, Charis had climbed out of the pack in play and was sitting in an arm chair in the corner of the room, waiting for Grammy to come up there to her. I wonder how long Charis had been awake sitting in that chair??? :)

Mexican food! Mmm! (Notice Cayman's arms: apparently
he played with the silverware wrappers the entire meal. He
was able to fit his hands in them and wore them as sleeves.) |
