Grammy Camp - Tuesday

This morning the kids all helped Grammy and Big Al do yard work. They all worked so hard picking up pine cones and sticks, dumping stuff in the wheel barrow, helping Big Al get rid of the fire ant beds (or so they thought...) When they took a break from all that "hard work," they each got to eat a yummy popsicle! (Grammy said that while everyone else was working, Charis sat on a bench in the yard, playing with all her stickers. She loves her stickers!!) So as a treat this afternoon, the kids got to do something extra fun! Grammy set up the "slippy slide" (as Cayman likes to call it) out in the backyard, and the kids just went at it - clothes and all! Although they all eventually ended up wearing only bottoms and no tops. :)

Then tonight, as has become their tradition, Cayman and Charis had a cheese and cracker party with Big Al in his bed. And no cheese and cracker party is complete without some summer sausage! My kids love to eat all kinds of food!!

And just so their mommy and daddy know, Garrett and Harper both ate their supper tonight (cleaned their plates even) so they could have dessert at the end of the meal. We had roast, rice and gravy, baby lima beans (one of your kids ate their beans with mayonnaise and LOVED THEM, and the other ate them with ketchup...because he really wanted his dessert...) corn on the cob (two little girls I know each ate two cobs a piece!) tomatoes and cucumbers. Neither one chose gravy...FYI. :)
