Everywhere we go! I love pointing out Christmas decorations to the kids. Sometimes I receive an excited squeal of delight. Other times, I hear crickets chirping from the backseat. Either way - I don't care. Because I love looking at lights, feeling festive, and getting in the Christmas mood. This is the first year that I've really decorated in our home. When I opened our two Christmas rubbermaid tubs, I was a little underwhelmed at what we had. There really wasn't too much in there. I was also a little sad to realize that when we moved from Florida last summer, I threw away all the inexpensive ornaments I had purchased at Target to decorate our little palm tree. I had grand plans for all those ornaments (like filling vases with the ornaments at our Chick-fil-A Christmas party and making an ornament wreath! Oh well!) So as soon as I got back from Augusta, I set out to make our home look a little more festive besides our big beautiful tree. I also purchased stockings for our family for the first time while Pottery Barn was having a sale. I've always wanted stockings, but I've been fairly picky about what type I want (thinking down the road, adding more members to the family, not wanting someone to be the odd man out with a random stocking, here's hoping that Pottery Barn doesn't go out of business or discontinue the stockings I purchased!)
We also spent the Sunday before Thanksgiving decorating our store. I think it looks so great! (Too bad the pictures are on my camera and I have no camera cord right now.)

You can't tell, but the garland is a strand of lights with short pieces of Christmas fabric tied on. It's so cute! Thanks, Natalia!! |
