And I'm not talking about the ducks at our neighborhood pond that like to bite my kids' fingers off if they fail to throw pieces of bread fast enough. Nor am I referring to a piece of meat that you order at fancy restaurants. Nope! I'm talking about Duck, North Carolina. Duck is a quaint little town located in the northern part of the Outer Banks. Mena and Poppy (Bonnie and Gary) are vacationing there with nine of their friends for the week. They have been vacationing with this group of people for a number of years now, and we were thrilled when they invited us to spend some time with their little "Duck Family." This is probably the last time we'll get to do something fun/exciting with Ian for a while because things are about to get a little wild and crazy at Chick-fil-A :). So we're making the most of it. We had an amazing time today, and we are so extremely glad we got the opportunity to spend the day with Mena, Poppy, and their good friends in Duck.
