The kids and I went to visit Ian this afternoon at the store. They (Ian and the two grand opening supervisors) were busy unpacking boxes of kitchen utensils and other restaurant supplies. It was the first time in a few weeks that I have been to the store, so it was so neat to walk in and see a restaurant!! I mean, Ian went to the drink machine and made himself a Diet Dr. Pepper! It's getting close people! :)
We walked all over the restaurant, checking out the play area, the kitchen, and the bathrooms. It all looks so good. We could not be more excited about opening this brand new store! I can't wait for all of our family and friends to be here with us in two weeks to share in this special moment. I looked over the itineraries for the different events the other night. I definitely started crying! (Cheesy, I know!) The events are so meaningful and seem like they're going to be so much fun. I was just overwhelmed thinking about all of this happening to US! I'm so thankful that the Lord saw us fit for this task, for this team, for this community. Anyways. Back to our visit today.
