Unfortunately it rained almost all weekend!! There went all our fun plans on the boat and by the pool!! Saturday we decided to go to our "mall" and let the kids play at the bounce house place. They had a ball! Stacy and I took the babies on a little shopping trip - I showed her my favorite store here in EC: Maurice's. I think she liked it as much as I do! When it was still pouring down rain when we came out of the mall, we decided to drive up to VA to go see the movie Planes. We ate outside on a patio at a Mexican restaurant (yes it was still raining - as you can tell by my poofy hair!) Then we went to see the movie! I realized it was Charis's first time watching a movie in a theater. It wasn't her first time IN a theater because I know I took her when she was a baby and too young to know anything. :) Planes was a great movie - and one my kids can relate to! With an airport literally right behind our house, we see all kinds of planes. Now all of those planes have names. Usually it's always "Dusty." (Main character in the movie...)
What a fun weekend!! I'm so glad they came! We had a blast!!
