Cayman has been swimming all summer long. At the beginning of the summer he attempted to pass the swimming test at the Y, but he missed it by 5-10 seconds. (You have to tread water for 30 seconds after swimming a full lap in the pool. He swam the lap but couldn't finish the treading.)
On this particular day, HE DID IT!! I was so proud of him, but I could tell he was really proud of himself as well. I will spare you the 2:30 seconds video because it is a little painful to watch! Haha :) Imagine a five year old awkwardly doing the breast stroke in the pool for two minutes.
Once you have your necklace, you are able to go down the big slides outside. He always told us that he didn't want to do the big slides. It's amazing what a little coercing from a friend can do! He LOVES the slides now!
