Picture Heavy Post! (Charis' Room and Baby C's Room)

Random Photo - Playing iPad with Grammy

We finished painting Charis' room! I LOVE how it turned out!!

Just as a reminder - before pictures

After pictures -- big girl bed :)

The owl artwork and storage
More artwork, and beneath this art, she has the table from
Ikea where she sits to have tea parties or color.

We also finished setting up Baby C's room! The room seems HUGE though! So we feel like it needs something else...definitely some kind of toy storage eventually...maybe a side table beside the glider? Or, maybe once we get a swing or bouncer, the room will start filling up! :)

Set up the crib - we used the same bedding for Cayman

Changing table - unfortunately it's still being used by a
certain little missy who refuses to sit on the potty!

sweet baby clothes :)
And of course, no Moody nursery is complete without a bit of homemade artwork. This time, I'm a little sad that I can't do anything with the name (at least beforehand, like with both other babies.) But I think I came up with something I like even more! We used the crib bedding as inspiration... remember - the different colored circles... And here's what we did!

Cayman chose the red circle. So he made red circle artwork
by using large hole punches to cut out two different shapes
circles from different shades/patterns of red cardstock.

Then he and Grammy worked together to Mod Podge the
circles to a canvas.

Charis chose the blue circle. She got
to use different shades of blue and a
red solo cup to paint circles on her canvas.

Mommy chose the yellow circle, and Grammy chose the green
circle. She and I both did the same thing - cut out some circles
from cardstock, and used paint to paint circles.

And here are the finished products! Ian will need to his
brown circle artwork, and then our project will be complete.
The kids loved doing this artwork!
