Shocked....

To say the utter least!

Last night, I created a Facebook Page for our future store. I think I finished it around midnight. By 12:02 (2 minutes after I added it to our Facebook profile page) we had 3 fans of our page! I was thinking, "Wow. 3 fans in 2 minutes! Not bad!" Little did I know...

By 10:30 pm on the following day - 22 hours after creating our Facebook page - we would have an astonishing 476 fans! Seriously! These people in Elizabeth City are excited about some Chick-fil-A!! I'm so glad we get to be the ones to get there and serve it to them!!

My sister-in-law wrote a comment after she "liked" Chick-fil-A of Elizabeth City, NC (so now, you can go like it too!) that said something along the lines of her being related to the owners. Tonight, she received an email from fan #16 (the first 20 or so started numbering themselves...) that said, "Do you really know the owners of the Chick-fil-A in Elizabeth City? I'm really anxious about them opening up and I really need a job and I have a child and cashier experience!" I don't think Ian is going to have a hard time getting people to come apply for a job at his store! I'm praying for people like this fan, that if he/she isn't able to get a job at our store, that something more fitting would come along at just the right time. I am seriously praying for our future team - Ian and I both want our team to feel like a family, we want everyone to love coming to work, we want everyone to strive for excellence in everything they do and push each other to grow, we want to be the place where everyone wants to work - not because the pay is good or the job is easy, but because we have something totally different than they've ever seen in a work place! We're especially praying that the Lord would send some amazing people to fill all the leadership positions in our restaurant.

We can't wait to get there and start loving on these people!
