My son was in HEAVEN today! He got to see not one, but TWO cows! (Chick-fil-A cows, of course.) He loves...let me reiterate...LOVES the Chick-fil-A cows. Ian’s store was involved with the “Pink Heals Tour” along with the Charlotte County Fire Department. There’s this pink firetruck that (I believe) travels around to different locations...still not sure if it’s nationwide, statewide, or regional...hosting an event in honor of breast cancer awareness. Loved ones sign the pink firetruck in honor of or in memory of a survivor or someone they had lost to cancer. Since the event today was held at the mall, they asked Ian to be involved with it also. So the kids and I headed out into the parking lot in search of a pink firetruck and two cows!
Cayman spotted them while we were still yards away. “HEY COW! Mama, ook! Cow!!” He just kept saying, “Hey cow!” over and over! And then when we got over to the roped off section of the parking lot, and he was allowed to get out of the stroller, he just went straight to the kid cow (its first appearance since Ian won it in the competition) to give it a high five. And then he went to the big cow to give him a high five. And then back to the kid cow. And then back to the big cow to hold his hand and lead him around the parking lot. At one point, a lady that seemed to kind of be in charge of the event wanted a picture with the cows in front of the firetruck, and there was Cayman, standing right beside one of the cows. I had to go take him out of the shot, kicking and screaming because he wanted his cows! He was very sad to leave his beloved cows, but he made it!
Charis is getting better and better at sitting alone! She loves playing in her exersaucer, but mostly she just loves whenever her big brother is around! Our newest game is chasing Cayman around the house. I hold Charis out in front of me like she’s chasing Cayman. Cayman just laughs! He thinks it’s so funny! And then we stop and “catch” Cayman, Charis kicks her legs and squeals for us to do it again. I love having two kids! It’s so much fun!
