Seminar - Part 1

Recently, Chick-fil-A sent us along with about 1,600+ of our closest friends on a cruise to Nassau, Bahamas. We had so much fun! While this year's seminar was so much different than last year's (this one was soooo much more relaxing and laid back!!!!!) we, of course, had A BLAST!!! Some of the highlights of this seminar...our day in Nassau, catching up with friends we only see once a year at Seminar, a fancy dinner at a Brazilian steakhouse with our friends, the Chick-fil-A Talent Show, and Oceanaria (aqua show similar to a Cirque De Soleis show). For those of you are wondering...all THREE kids stayed with Mena (Ian's mom) and Grammy (my mom) at our house in EC. They all had a blast together. Pretty sure the grandmas were exhausted by Thursday night!! Callie did GREAT with taking bottles and going right back to nursing once I returned home. The drive to the airport the first day was the WORST for me. I knew Cayman and Charis would be totally fine. I was a little nervous (to say the least!!!) about leaving my 3 month old behind, even though I knew she was in great hands! But the further (or farther...????) away I got from her, the easier it got for me. I missed them all week for sure, but it was a much less emotional week than I had anticipated. It was nice to be around adults all week long, have grown up time, and I especially enjoyed time with just my hubby. Thanks for a great trip, Truett!!! ;) Can't wait to head down to Orlando next year!

Nate, Chris, Jeff, Ian
Chris is the operator of the two Chick-fil-A's in Raleigh where Ian, Nate,
and Jeff used to work. They all three worked for Chris at the same time.
All three also went into the IM program one after the other. They also all
became operators one after the other. Nate's store is in Myrtle Beach, and
Jeff's store is in Greenville, NC. We love them and their sweet families!

Our ship, Allure of the Seas, is on the right at the port in Nassau. To the left,
behind that little building, is one of Carnival's cruise ships. It really is
that much smaller than ours. No joke. No exaggerating.
